Daymé Arosena is an Afro-Cuban jazz singer from Havana, Grammy Award nominee and winner of various prestigious vocal competitions - she started her musical career at the age of 8 and is considered a musical prodigy. Vibe magazine has called her "the next global jazz phenomenon". Line Kruse is a Danish violinist and composer based in France who is constantly testing musical boundaries. She has toured for many years with the world-famous Gotan Project. Strong rhythms and lyrical simplicity are at the heart of this diverse form of music created by Line, which is both intimate and extroverted. She has worked successfully with creative South American artists in Paris, so she is close to Latin American rhythms in music, which is the reason for her collaboration with Daimé. In the programme, Jazz Club visitors will hear jazz tunes in Cuban rhythms!
