The venue grew out of legendary series of The Black Friday concerts, which are being held since early 1990ies in Riga every time when 13th day of any month falls into Friday. The club opened in 2006 on of the owner is Latvian death metal band Neglected Fields frontman Sergejs «Destruction» Kustovs. Since than, the club has became a cult underground heavy and extreme music concert venue in Riga. Over the years, it has hosted shows by some of the most respected artists within variety of genres, including bands like Sepultura, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Meshuggah, Hypocrisy, Cannibal Corpse, Kreator, Converge, Obituary, Type O Negative, Nile, Rotting Christ, Children of Bodom, Napalm Death and Death in June a.o.
