Le Salon

On Riga’s officialy most beautiful Art Nouveau street, Le Salon de Malakhoff is a showroom de haute vie devoted to the finer vices. Its pièce de résistance is the Malakhoff black caviar, discreetly elevated even by Alain Ducasse, alongside a cave of niche French wines, champagnes and select Grover bottles. No drink menu, ask and select right from their wine caibnet. Scotch, noble spirits and other petits plaisirs complete the liquid aristocracy.

The menu is deliberately minuscule: truffle cheese, foie gras toast with fig confit, jamón ibérico, caviar à la brioche and an exquisitely French seasonal dessert. Everything arrives on antique porcelain and gleaming silver, naturally. Surrounded by hand-picked antiquités, the room has the intimacy of a private Parisian réception—part château, part decadent hideaway.

Le Salon is not somewhere you simply dine; it is somewhere you paraissez—with caviar, impeccable taste and just the right amount of snobisme.
