The first-ever craft kebab joint in Latvia. Co-owned and operated by gourmet chef Arturs Taškans (of Cod Restaurant), is flipping the script on street food. They’re serving up local, chicken and bio top notch signature beef from local farms (Kolumbi /Kuldīga/, Bauņu Bullītis /Valmiera/), slow-cooked on a rotating shawarma skewer over charcoal for that killer smoky flavor. The one separate skewer will be dedicated to seasonal specialties: lamb or even game meat. The half meter kebabs are loaded with fresh salad and spices—cumin, coriander, and sumac—packed into thin, homemade Armenian lavash bread. Vegans and vegetarians aren’t left out either, with tofu options that hold their own. You can drench your kebab and fries in a range of next-level sauces: mango, tahini-yoghurt, pesto, and grilled pepper heat, all made in-house. Inside, the vibe’s pure 90’s hood style, thanks to designer Kintija Ķaune, making it the perfect spot to chill. Grab a craft beer, kombucha, or even a glass of wine while you devour your 7-10 EUR kebab set. Modern, local twist to the classic Caucasus and Middle Eastern grill traditions—and it’s fire.
