Viva Mozart

Olga Pyatigorskaya (soprano) was born in Riga. She gratuated from Riga Musical College named after J. Medins. Alredy during studies she was successfully giving concerts with organ. After graduating from the college she entered the Latvian Academy of Music and Musical Conservatory of Rome “Santa Cecilia”.She graduated from Conservatory “Santa Cecilia” with the highest grades.
She possesses a beautiful voice with a rich timbre. She has performed in The Rome Opera, Rome Auditorium, St. Paolo Basilica, Naples in the oldest Church of the city “Santa Kiara”, Algerian national Theatre, Berlin, as well as in Riga.
Laureate of the international festival in Moscow (2007). Latvian public award “Recognition” (2011). In 2008 recorded her first CD “Ave Maria”. She has been singing in the Dome Cathedral since 2007.

Ilze Reine has been an organist and parish choir conductor at the Riga St. John’s Church since 1996. She studied organ at the University of Church Music at Herford (Germany) and at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, from which she graduated with a master’s degree in 1999. I. Reine perfected her skills at the master classes of J. Laukvik, H. Vogel, E. Kooiman, J.Essl and International SummerAcademy Haarlem (2014). Parallel to her work in St. John’s parish in Riga, I. Reine also teaches organ at the Music Department of the LELC Luther Academy. I. Reine performed in concert programmes and participated in music festivals in Latvia, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, France and Russia. In addition to organ solo programmes, she collaborates with Latvian professional soloists and choirs, such as the Latvian Radio Choir and the Latvian State Academic Choir, and she has participated in performances of Baroque music in the basso continuo group of the State Chamber Orchestra Sinfonietta Rīga.

IEVA PUDĀNE is a flute section musician in Sinfonietta Rīga and a flute instructor in the Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School. She studied flute in the Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School (teacher Juris Gailītis) and the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music (prof. Vilnis Strautiņš) where she attained her Master’s degree in 1999. Ieva Pudāne has gained additional knowledge in the Conservatory of Music of Luxembourg with prof. Carlo Jans where she obtained the highest-grade diploma in flute and chamber music. Ieva has attended master classes of the flute section leader of the Berlin Philharmonic Andreas Blau, as well as other musicians – William Bennett, Michie Bennett, Denis Bouriakov, Maxence Larrieu, Gergely Ittzes and Janos Balint. Ieva Pudāne has performed in Germany and Luxembourg as a soloist and chamber musician. She has currently developed a creative and harmonious duet with the organist Ilze Reine, performing chamber music concerts in Latvia.
