opens with Thomas Dahl
(Germany), performing works
by Bach, Mendelssohn, Reger,
and his own compositions.
A special evening celebrates
Arvo Pärt’s 90th birthday with
the Latvian Radio Choir and
Aigars Reinis.
Notable solo performances
include Una Cintiņa, Toomas
Trass, and Wolfgang Zerer,
featuring a range from romantic
to contemporary organ
repertoire. The festival also
includes themed concerts
such as Voice of Piebalga
and Music from Denmark,
highlighting vocal and national
traditions. It concludes
with VENI LUMEN, a program
of contemporary organ duets
and premieres by the Riga Organum
Duo.
