What World Do Latvian Travellers See? Applications Open for Major Travel Photography Contest

Travellers, photography enthusiasts and professional photographers are invited to take part in the travel photography contest organised by Trawell.lv. The total prize fund amounts to EUR 1,200 plus gifts from sponsors**. The aim of the competition is to showcase the most compelling travel stories and inspire people to discover the world through authentic photography.
This year, entries will be judged in four categories: PORTRAIT, AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY, ICONIC PLACES, and DETAILS & TEXTURES. First, second and third places will be awarded in each category. The photographs will be evaluated by an international professional jury consisting of experienced photographers from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
The organisers emphasise that the competition is not about the camera or equipment used, but about the ability to tell a story through a single image, convey emotions and inspire others to travel.
“Every journey is unique, and every photograph has its own story. We want to show the world as travellers see it, while at the same time inspiring others to embark on new adventures,” say the contest organisers.
Participation in the contest is free of charge. Anyone can enter, regardless of age or photography experience. The best works will be awarded and published on the Trawell.lv platform.
