New dining space POSTe opens at Origo

October 30, Thursday 2025 - November 30, Sunday 2025
Bright new dining space “POSTe” opens at Origo

Shopping center Origo has unveiled its brand-new dining concept — “POSTe”, a lively, modern food and social hub in the heart of Riga. Inspired by the site’s past as the city’s central post office, POSTe bridges history and contemporary urban life, offering a “journey through time and taste.” The name itself nods to the building’s postal heritage while symbolizing connection, travel, and shared experiences.

“Origo’s concept is built on the idea of a journey — through time, space, and experiences,” says Evija Majevska, Commercial Director of Linstow Baltic and Origo. “With POSTe, we continue that story, turning Origo into a dynamic city center destination where people meet, eat, and explore world flavors.”

Located on the 3rd floor, the new 840 m² food hall brings together a variety of cuisines — from Italian pizzas at Picante Pizza & Birra and Georgian comfort food at Hačapuri to refreshing cocktails at Holy Sips bar. Fans of Latvian dishes will enjoy Bistro Riga, while Bao adds an Asian twist with steamed buns and poke bowls.

Designed by Kirson Design Group, POSTe blends nostalgic 1980s touches and postal-themed décor with a sleek, cosmopolitan feel. “We wanted to capture the joy of meeting and tasting the world in one place,” says designer Evija Ķirsone-Slavinska. Inspired by successful international food halls, POSTe aims to redefine the local dining scene with its diverse food, design, and atmosphere. The grand opening takes place October 30, featuring DJs, games, photo activities, and special offers from 10:00 to 21:00.

With convenient access by public transport or car, Origo also offers free one-hour parking for purchases over €15 until the end of December. So next time you’re in Riga city center — drop by POSTe at Origo: the perfect spot where great food, city life, and friendly vibes come together.
