Matīss Čudars will finally be in Latvia. After completing his Masters at Yale University, he is now continuing his career in the States.
In collaboration with Jersika Records, he has just released the album 'Take Your Time', the repertoire of which won the 2022 Grand Music Award for the concert of the year at our M/Darbnīca. A very special opportunity to catch Matiss due to his rapid development, talent, and active change of locations.
The trio plays original compositions by Matīss Čudars, constantly permeated by improvisation and the spirit of freedom; the guys' shared interest in rhythm, the jazz tradition, the infinite sonic possibilities of their musical instruments and basketball is present.
