Pianist and composer Kristaps Vanadziņš continues the story of his solo piano album “Piano Is My Temple!”, revealing in its second part the music that has shaped his musical world and style.
“Piano Is My Temple! Vol. 2” is a personal continuation of the first volume of the album - a musical dialogue between his own creations and compositions that have been important to Kristaps on his artistic path.
In addition to Kristaps Vanadziņš’s original music, the program will also feature compositions by Emīls Dārziņš, Mārtiņš Brown, and George Gershwin.
The concert will be performed in a quadraphonic sound system at Latvian Radio Studio 1, allowing the listener to experience the music spatially and discover the sound of the piano in a new dimension.
