Denmark-based jazz musician, composer, arranger and bandleader double bassist Kenneth Dahl Knudsen - Bassist/Composer, toured through 33 countries, played with John Scofield, Aaron Parks and many more, brings us on an emotional journey into the lightness of youth.
His fourth album „Tété“ references the name he used to give himself as a little child before he could speak properly and stands as a symbol for his newfound lightheartedness. Musical influences from all over the world (harmonies of the European music tradition, playful rhythms of Africa and Latin America, expressiveness of Jewish folk songs) come together with a naturalness that implies Knudsen has the formula for successfully translating the fundamental idea of jazz into the age of globalisation.
