The leader of the celebrated Finnish band "HIM" Ville Valo is returning to Latvia! A show of the "Neon Noir" world tour will take place in Riga on April 16, 2024. During the "Neon Noir Tour" concerts Ville Valo will present his latest solo tracks from the album "Neon Noir" and also perform legendary "HIM" songs.
One of Finland's most renowned songwriters and producers, Ville Valo, gained worldwide fame as the vocalist of the gothic rock group "HIM." The group became a cult favourite in Latvia and all over the world since the release of the album "Razorblade Romance" in 1999. During the "Neon Noir Tour" performances fan favourites from this album like "Poison Girl", "Join Me in Death", "Right Here in My Arms", and other iconic "HIM" tracks will be performed.
In 2020, Ville Valo began his solo career under the stage name "VV". "Neon Noir" is the debut solo album of the gothic rock genius Ville Valo. Released this year, the album immediately climbed to the top of the Finnish album chart. The new album's tracks "Neon Noir", "Loveletting", "Salute the Sanguine", "Run Away From the Sun", and "Saturnine Saturnalia" received praise from fans.
The "Neon Noir Tour", which started this year and continues with dozens of concerts in North and South America, will head to Australia and New Zealand in 2024, and starting from April next year European fans will also have a change to enjoy this spectacular concert program. The final gig of this tour will take place at the prestigious "Royal Albert Hall" concert venue in London, United Kingdom.
