Riga to Host Major Light Festival “Magic in the Botanical Garden”
Starting on 6 November, the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia will be transformed into a spectacular light exhibition featuring more than 200 light installations, thousands of lights and an enchanting walking trail stretching almost two kilometres. Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to stroll along illuminated pathways, admire impressive light sculptures and installations, encounter fantastical characters and immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of an enchanted garden. More than 200 light displays, including animal and bird figures, fairytale characters and glowing floral gardens, will create a unique setting for evening leisure and unforgettable experiences.
The walking trail will stretch for almost two kilometres. Along the way, visitors will discover themed areas, artistic lighting displays and specially designed photo spots, providing plenty of opportunities to capture memorable moments.
The festival is designed for a wide audience and offers an ideal setting for family outings, romantic evenings and walks with friends. The organisers invite visitors to take a break from their daily routines, enjoy the outdoors and experience the magic of one of Riga’s greenest spaces.
