Riga Flea Market
Design fans, treasure hunters and lovers of vintage oddities will all be welcomed at the artsy Spīķeri quarter in Riga starting from April for some fun alternative shopping.
Visitors dropping by at Maskavas Street 10 from 11am and 4pm, will be able to find quirky clothing, housewares, old vinyl, cameras, handmade wool shoes, artisan jewelry, book and more. Admission to the market is free.
From the 14th century, Spīķeri served as an area for the loading and unloading of cargo, hosting warehouses for goods that were traded in Riga. This trading spirit makes the area an atmospheric backdrop for the market.
Riga Flea Market aims to develop and bring to life the best European tradition of open-air flea markets in Riga, where anyone can bring along their unwanted but interesting things that had the potential to become real treasures for somebody else.
