In this concert, one of the highlights of the LNSO chamber music series – the LNSO Piano Trio – invites the charismatic French soprano Perrine Madoeuf to collaborate in a programme filled with surprises. Continuing their tradition, the ensemble offers in their concerts opuses by chamber music luminaries, this time featuring the compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as chamber music piece Three O by Latvian composer George Pelēcis. Meanwhile, Lera Auerbach is a bright and unconventional personality in the world of music. Her first piano trio, a skilfully composed and effective masterpiece, showcases the artist's talents. The concert will also feature the delicate pastoral landscapes of British composer Roger Quilter.
