At the chamber music concert Between Two Worlds, we invite you to immerse yourself in various musical eras. Baritone Rihards Millers, cellist Inga Ozola, and pianist Ilze Ozoliņa will perform music by late Romantic composer Richard Strauss – seven songs accompanied by cello and piano.
Meanwhile, young soprano Katrīna Paula Felsberga will focus on 20th-century music. Collaborating with pianist Ilze Ozoliņa, she will perform Natural Selection, a cycle created in 1997 by American composer Jake Heggie, inspired by different stages of a young woman's development. In Last Poems of Wallace Stevens (1972) by Ned Rorem, cellist Inga Ozola will join the performers.
