The museum is set upon the premises of a former fire station, built in 1912 and designed in Art Nouveau style. The collections focus on the history of fire-fighting in Latvia from the second half of the 19th century until the present time. Fire-fighting equipment, flags, uniforms, photographs and documents are on display.
