On August 15, the 14th international music festival “Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends” will conclude with a grand closing concert and performance by the legendary musical trio – Trio Paris Royale, composed by guitarist Tino Kahl, contrabass player-virtuoso Michael Kehraus and outstanding soloist, violinist-wunderkind from Germany – Baptiste Pawlik, who has performed with Celine Dion, Robbie Williams and has played at the farewell concert for Pope Benedict XVI in the Vatican City. At the age of three, Baptiste Pawlik begun his violin lessons and being only four-years-old, he won the contest “Jugend Musiziert”. As the youngest contestant, he was called a “musician-wunderkind”. Further followed by a series of awards and victories in the biggest musical contests around the world. Musical pieces performed by Baptiste Pawlik enchant audiences in Europe and Asia, but musician’s virtuosity can impress even the most implacable musical critics. As for today Baptiste Pawlik is one of the most popular and requested violinists, who during his performances expertly combines melodies of different genres into a single and laconic piece of music – always acknowledged by the public with stormy ovations.

In the concert programme – wide variety of musical genres: from music in French café style and gypsy jazz to hits of such legends as Michael Jackson and rock band Coldplay. The concert will culminate with the incredible performance of the well-known tango “Por una Cabeza” (from Spanish – “by a head”), from the first notes evoking in imagination the sensual dance from the movie “Scent of a Woman”, performed by Al Pacino and Gabrielle Anwar, and thoughts about passion and happiness to feel the madness of love.

As a special surprise for Latvian audience will become interpretations of Latvian national compositions performed by musicians of musical trio – Trio Paris Royale for the festival’s “Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends” listeners in Jurmala. A fascinating journey in the time and a charm of positive emotions – all this and more will be awaiting for the festival’s “Summertime – Inese Galante & Friends” guests on August 15, in the concert hall of Dzintari.
