If you once were given a task to play your favorite composition alone, uniting bass, accompaniment and solo, what would be your reply? The task isn't impossible and absolutely can be done. This trick will be shown by a project "Organic City" lead by Atis Andersons, based on a Hammond organ.
Traditionally this instrument in jazz is responsible for and contains an uninterrupted bass line, on top of which everything else is built - harmony, tune and improvisation. The concert will feature compositions by Atis Andersons, Jimmy McGriff, Lou Donaldson, Rusty Bryant and the others in groove/boogaloo/funk/jazz rock.
