Sheila Zagury
Pianist, arranger and teacher at Rio de Janeiro Federal University, Sheila has just presented her doctoral thesis on Brazilian Choro. Musician with an eclectic background, she has outstanding performances in classical music, choro, samba, Brazilian pop music and jazz. For more than twenty years, she has had a partnership with the singer Marianna Leporace, the harmonica player, José Staneck, and the sax and flute player, Daniela Spielmann. She also takes part at the Lunar Orchestra, formed by female musicians and singers. She has an extensive discography, from which we highlight the albums: Mulheres em Pixinguinha, São Bonitas as Canções, Brasileirinhas and Harmonitango.

Djâmen Farias
Djâmen is a Brazilian guitarist and composer from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, south of Brazil, currently living in Portugal. His first instrument was the drum set, lately he started on the guitar. Djâmen is mostly influenced by black music. His music is based in searching the roots of many places, cultures from all over the world, mixing and creating his own language, between old and new rhythms. His music travels inside many Brazilian rhythms such as Maracatú, Samba, Ijexá, Choro, Jongo, Baião, Candomblé among others. With an unique way of playing, Djâmen has the latin swing and the sophisticate harmony of Jazz.
