Reinis Zarins is one of the brightest young Latvian pianists, laureate of 11 international competitions and participant of prestige festivals of Europe and America, who had won the country's Grand Music Award three times. He had collaborated with leading orchestras, like Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica, Ostrobothnian Chamber orchestra, and conductors Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, Pablo Heras-Casado and Diego Masson, among others. Reinis had his concerto debut at the age of ten, and since then he has performed all over the world. In his repertoire, there is classical and avant-garde music, as well as multimedia projects. Now Reinis is living in London, but he regularly appears in native Latvia to gladden listeners with new concert programs. This year his third Latvian album will come on air, as well as premieres of a new piano concerto and a cycle of piano works written for Reinis by the leading Latvian composers.
