The concert is the musicians’ dedication to Latvia’s centenary. Ķeniņš’ work is a filigree display of supreme workmanship, Pelēcis captures the audience with his vim and vigour, Fridrihsons enchants with his pictorial quality, and Gribinčika’s contribution is an entirely new work. The quartet has chosen just as brilliant company as always – the strings will mingle with Dita’s flute, Mārtiņš’ clarinet, and Agnese’s piano performance.
